The CX lounge at BKK was opened in mid-2015. I intentionally routed through BKK to visit this lounge. Originally I was booked in F as part of my MEL-xxxxx-TPE ticket but they did a downgrade of te aircraft and I was stuck in C.

The lounge looked new and was a decent size. It had the usual Noodle Bar with a dining area, staffed bar, buffet and desert section .

On the left handside, there was an area for coffee, tea and cold western food, salad, fruit and drinks.
On the right side, there was the bar with very friendly staff who made all all their signature cocktails.
There was your usual selection of dimsum and wonton noodles in the Noodle Bar. The ordering process was telling the receptionist what you wanted and they'd give you a pager.
I tried the dimsum and wonton noodles:
You could either eat at the dining area or anywhere within the lounge
They also had these lounge chairs where you can put your feet up and chill. It was completely full when I got there.
As it got closer to boarding time, I managed to get my chair
And ordered some pad thai and another drink. It came with dried than real shrimp.
Business area.

Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay here. It is no Thai F lounge but definitely plenty for a Business class lounge. I would definitely come back the next time I am on a OW flight in BKK.

I was very anxious to come back to HKG to visit the CX lounges. I was able to check out both of the Wing and Pier first class lounges during my March 2016 trip. The Business Class Pier lounge opened over the summer and looked huge from the online reviews and definitely did not disappoint me.

The Business Class Pier was located near the First Class Pier near gate 63. It was a good walk across from the Wing lounge. A tip: You can store your carryon items with any of the front desk if you were adventurous to lounge hop. I rushed to the Pier First Class to get an a massage appointment. More on that later.

All the amenities the lounge has to offer. It is a HUGE place.
As you enter there is a buffet area on the left hand side with hot food, fruit and baked goods.
The canto style egg tarts were amazing. I usually prefer the chinese egg tarts
Western style sandwiches
Barista station on the right and side
The next section has more beverages, wine, deserts and asian hot foods

More Coffee and tea stuff on the right side
Then the Noodle Bar, it has egg rolls, HK noodles and dim sum
Then a bar area w all the fancy beverages. Because it was around 11AM when I got there, it was pretty lightly staffed.
Lounging area.
Onto the tea room (Only available at the HKG lounge)

Tea Options

Tea station
Smoothies
I didn't order too much as I was saving my room for the food at the First Class lounges.
Then the relaxation areas followed
I can envision myself spending the night here.
Shower room (pretty much the same stuff found in the First Class Pier Lounge)

Overall, I was very impressed w the size and offering. With all the lounges that I have visited, CX, SQ, JL, BR, AA, UA, QF, MH, I would rate CX's Pier Business Class Lounge to be the Best Business Class Lounge in the world.
