SQ The Private Room - Dinner

Cathay Pacific The Wing First Class Lounge

Additional pictures of this post can be found in the following album

After a fabulous experience in suites I had The Private Room to look forward to.

SQ has a special Check-in Lounge for First Class passengers. It is located at the end of the terminal; a long walk from the sMRT station.

I was issued my special pass to access the exclusive TPR.

There is a dedicated immigration area for First Class passengers that was located across from the check-in area.

I headed strait to the SQ Lounges. I intentionally booked a transit hotel airside so that I could try the Private Room's dinner options. This lounge is only accessible by those on a First Class SQ Ticket.

Upon entering the general lounge area, I was given an escort into The Private Room. It was located all the way in the end of the lounge. I had bugged the lady for pictures many pictures that you will see later.

The lounge was pretty busy when I arrived as SIN had a bunch of late evening flights. It featured two private suites along with the made to order dining area.

Here is the dining area!

I decided to first take a shower.
The bathroom had all sort of amenities.

Upon entering the dining room, the self serve options were located in the left corner of the room

Obviously the above was not what I came for.
I was led to my table and my waitress offered me an assortment of drinks and food

I chose the Satay for starters. It was equally tasty as the ones in-flight.

I had Lobster with linguine and US Prime Beef burger with Fois Gras and Quail for my main course.
Given that I tried Fois Gras in Paris, For some reason I didn't really taste any Fois Gras in the 'meat patty'

My desert
